Help with Level Ride Connectivity Issues or Dropouts

You have installed your Level Ride ECU and you cannot find it in the “search for the ECU” please check your power and grounds.

If you’re under 12 volts the ECU will not power up. the ECU goes through a voltage check and if 12 volts isn’t held for the first 5 seconds, which is usually when you’re starting the car it will start the cycle again until a steady 12volts is held then you will see either your ECU address and or if you were paired before and simply closed the app it will auto reconnect.

If your connection drops out when the compressors kick on or you operate your valves this is an indicator that you have a bad ground or low voltage. You will see this drop on the voltage meter at the top of the screen. You need to maintain, at engine idle, with everything running, 12.6 volts at a bare minimum, optimum is 13.8-14.8 volts.

An alternator upgrade will be required if you are below 12.6 volts in this scenario. Adding batteries won’t fix this issue as its related to charging the batteries.

Bluetooth only allows one connection at a time, so once you connect to Level Ride all other devices will become invisible until you unpair the ECU or clear the Cache on the settings page.

If the Bluetooth connection drops out or is unresponsive, check the signal strength meter in the top of the screen -40 to -65 is optimal signal strength. Anything higher than -65 will see delays in responsiveness. You may need to move the ECU away from sound deadening or metal, as these will reduce the signal strength. Magnetic fields from compressors, subwoofers etc. and sub boxes will decrease responsiveness. We require the ECU to always be mounted at LEAST 2 feet away from such devices.
